Delivery Area
We currently ship to UK mainland addresses only.
Delivery Methods
We use a mix of courier and pallet freight, depending on the size, weight, and nature of the item(s) ordered.
- Courier delivery – typically used for smaller items
- Pallet delivery – used for larger or heavier furniture items
Dispatch Times
- Courier deliveries: dispatched within 1–2 working days
- Pallet deliveries: dispatched within 2–5 working days
Please note that dispatch times are estimates and may vary slightly depending on order volume and stock location.
Delivery Charges
Free delivery on all orders.
There are no additional shipping charges for courier or pallet deliveries.
Tracking
- Courier deliveries: tracking information is usually provided
- Pallet deliveries: tracking may not always be available. In these cases, we or the carrier will contact you to arrange delivery
Nature of Our Stock
Workplace Surplus specialises in new surplus, ex-display, and refurbished office furniture and accessories.
- Items are sold “as described” and, where applicable, “as seen”
- Some products may show signs of handling, previous display, or light refurbishment
- Any cosmetic marks or imperfections will always be clearly stated in the product description where relevant
- We do not sell customer-returned goods
We recommend reviewing product descriptions carefully before placing an order.
Returns & Refunds
Change-of-Mind Returns (Consumer Orders)
In line with the Consumer Contracts (Information, Cancellation and Additional Charges) Regulations, you have the right to cancel your order within 14 days of receiving the goods.
Conditions:
- Items must be unused, in original condition, and suitable for resale
- You are responsible for the cost of return shipping
- We do not charge a restocking fee
To request a return, please email mo@lmp-ltd.com within 14 days of delivery, quoting your order number.
Refunds will be issued once the returned item has been received and inspected.
Faulty or Damaged Items
If your item arrives faulty or damaged:
- You must notify us within 48 hours of delivery
- Please email mo@lmp-ltd.com with:
- Your order number
- A description of the issue
- Clear photographs showing the fault or damage
Our approach:
- Replacement first, where stock is available
- Refund only if a replacement cannot be supplied
Failure to report damage within 48 hours may affect our ability to make a claim with the carrier and could result in the return being declined.
Important Notes
- Delivery dates are estimates, not guarantees
- Failed deliveries due to incorrect access information, missed appointments, or unsuitable delivery conditions may result in additional charges
- Large pallet deliveries are kerbside only unless otherwise stated
